About
Made 2 Thrive

Made2Thrive strives to enable individuals and families with special needs to see the potential in each person, and allow for empowerment of the individual with special needs to become a stronger and more adjusted contributor to society.

Our Story

Made2Thrive started in 2005 as Wise County Special Needs Baseball. Exciting things began to happen as our participants grew from as few as 10 players to a whopping 104 players, by 2012! In 2013, WCSNB started branching out into more than just baseball in the form of Outward Adventures, which provides a social opportunity for participants and families . As we continue to grow and funding allows, plans have been made to expand the list of opportunities we can provide.

Made2Thrive is only able to do all we do through the generous donations and sponsorships of people who care about those who are EXTRA-SPECIAL!

Group of people, children and adults, gathered in front of a Texas-themed cargo truck with a large Texas logo window display. The group is smiling and wearing colorful casual clothes, some with event T-shirts. The setting appears to be outside a building with brick walls and a staircase.
A group of women and girls at a baseball stadium, with some holding papers or signs, and one girl in orange holding a Texas Rangers sign.
A young girl with glasses and a gray T-shirt playing baseball on a dirt field, with two other girls and an older girl watching nearby.

All individuals working within Made2Thrive are unpaid volunteers.

Made2Thrive is a 501c3 non-profit organization whose focus is on giving individuals with special needs in North Texas opportunities to flourish and thrive to their greatest extent!
